David Spuria, Co-Founder

David loves entrepreneurial environments and breathing life into organizations. He mashes up his 20+ years of experience in law and finance to produce sage guidance for our growing company. He keeps us on our toes and has a great personality to boot. His career includes his current role as Partner and General Counsel for Southlake Equity Group, with prior engagements as General Counsel of Texas Pacific Group, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel for New York-based Capital Z Partners, and Partner in the law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges. All these gigs enabled David to put his JD from the University of North Carolina School of Law to work, and learn the intricacies of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and regulatory law. And now, beyond his wise counsel, he rolls up his sleeves for CaraGreen and handles legal and certain administrative matters, deals with professional advisors, lenders and investors, and handles government and regulatory matters, such as LEED expertise and state and federal policy related to green building.
