CaraGreen Showcases its Samples Studio, an Engaging Experience for Architects, Builders and Designers at GreenBuild 2019

RALEIGH, NC, November 15, 2019 – CaraGreen, the trusted source for healthy building materials, today announced its participation at the 2019 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, showcasing its “Samples Studio” on November 20-21, 2019, an experiential booth where conference attendees can see, feel and learn the brand story of the sample materials of their choice. Greenbuild, the largest green building conference and expo in the world, features four days of networking, educational sessions, green building tours, keynote events, and a robust expo floor.

With over 300 exhibitors at Greenbuild, CaraGreen breaks through the noise with its dynamic and colorful booth (#2032) – aptly called, “Inside the Samples Studio: Where Your Story Begins.” Here samples will be displayed as they would be in a candy shop. At each of the four podiums, a product is demonstrated with its own sustainable brand story, including Durat, Kirei, Lapitec and PaperStone. In addition, the booth offers cork flooring made from Expanko and the tops of the podiums themselves are made of elementAl LIGHT, developed from 93% recycled content.

The traditional trade show booth has limited space for installations, making it difficult to talk about products. Visitors’ badges are scanned, and follow-up occurs well after the fact. At that point, visitors do not remember what they wanted and why. In short, people do not get what they want, when they want it. At CaraGreen’s Samples Studio, visitors will be able to choose the samples they want and order them in real-time. By the time they return to the office, a well-curated samples package from CaraGreen will be on the way.

“We want to take the idea of a tradeshow booth and turn it on its head,” said CaraGreen President, Jessica McNaughton. “We want visitors to come to the booth, see the samples and the stories behind the samples, then choose what they want on the spot. This way, people can experience the products while learning about them. While they learn the stories of each product, they can effectively build their own story depending on the samples they take, whether it’s a story of color, sustainability, or biophilia.”

Another interactive feature of the booth will be a selfie wall built with Organoid Technologies’ award-winning bio-based surfacing materials. A truly innovative breakthrough, Organoid’s materials are pressed into tiles, whereby the natural feel and color as well as the innate fragrance are largely retained.

Greenbuild is presented by the U.S. Green Building Council and is the world’s largest event dedicated to green building. The conference brings together attendees and exhibitors from across the green building sector, spanning commercial and residential professionals, architects, building owners and operators, students, advocates, and educators. This year’s Greenbuild takes place at Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta from November 19-22, 2019.
